After, the old poles are now Banner Poles and reused elsewhere.

A Courthouse Plaza was built to offer a community gathering space in the downtown. Note the original National Road mile marker.

BUILDINGS...

Initial group of 5 started the restoration/rehab epidemic that we only hoped for. This is the third of the five, before and after. Rows of signs were common.

SAME BUILDINGS AFTER RESTORATION

Home Pizza. Before - A log structure was found as part of the building, After - Wood siding was intact under the mansard roof.

A historically accurate downtown mural was added to the wall of Home Pizza.

1884 Beaux Arts Style Courthouse. The Courthouse was cleaned, received a new roof, new paint and new windows. Before the Courthouse had black stone, silver paint and reflective glass.

City South Market St. Parking Lots - the parking lots were regraded, paved, and sodded. Storm sewers were added as well as pavement markings and bumper blocks.

North Marietta St. - "Miracle" of paint and awnings. Before photos shows 4 different exterior materials.
