Rental Information
The J.B. Martin Recreation-Senior Center is available to rent for wedding receptions, showers, reunions and/or birthday parties. The facility is air conditioned with a legal seating capacity of 450 people. The Recreation Department provides the set up, tear down, and clean up for your event. The choice of caterers is entirely up to the renter. Alcoholic beverages are permitted, however, there is no sale of alcoholic beverages permitted in the facility. The Parks & Recreation Department has a staff at the facility during the 3 hour decorating period as well as during the 8 hour reception rental period from 3:00 pm till 11:00 pm.
NO SMOKING: Ohio Voters passed Issue 5 on November 7, 2006, creating Ohio's indoors smoking ban under a new chapter of the Ohio Revised Code (ORC) effective December 7, 2006. This new law requires "public places" and "places of employment" be smoke free as of that date. Therefore the JB Martin Recreation-Senior Center is a NO SMOKING facility.
