HALLOWEEN COSTUME JUDGING CONTEST

Will be held on Wednesday, October 29th at 6:30 pm at the St. C. Recreation Department. This event is for boys and girls ages 1 - 12 years. Trophies will be awarded to the funniest, prettiest, scariest, most original, andmost original runner up costumes in each age group. Candy grab bags and cider will be distributed to all participants. There is no fee.

FREE THROW TURKEY SHOOT

Any parent/child combination (with children's age groups as: ages 8 & 9, 10 & 11; 12 & 13; and 14 & up, may shoot 10 free throws each with the highest scores in each age group receiving a Thanksgiving turkey. The contest will be held on Saturday, November 8th at 10:00 am at the JB Martin Recreation-Senior Center. Registration fee is $5.00 per team (family) and will be accepted until November 10th at 9:00 am at the Recreation Center.

HOLIDAY HOUSE DECORATING CONTEST

Will be conducted on Wednesday, December 17th from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Trophies will be awarded to winners in the following categories: Best Decorated (overall), 2nd Best Decorated (overall), Best Decorated Door, and Best Nativity. Those interested in participating must contact the St. Clairsville Department of Parks and Recreation and submit their name, address, and telephone number by Tuesday, December 16th at 4:00 pm. There is no fee.

FLEA MARKET

At the City's Belmont County Fairgrounds Saturdays through October 25th (excluding August 30 and September 6th due to the Belmont County Fair.) The hours are 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. Restroom facilities for vendors and public. Inside enclosed building 10x10 ft. space is $7.00 in the Jr. Fair Building - tables provided but no electric.

All money received will benefit the Parks & Recreation Department, Plenty of Parking - Handicap Accessible. For further information or to rent a space, contact the Recreation Department at (740) 695-2037.

FARMERS MARKET

At the Belmont County Fairgrounds Saturdays through October 25th excluding August 30th and September 6th (due to the Belmont County Fair) 9:00 to 2:00 pm. Cost is $7.00 per space.
